CurrentCurriculum Associates publishes research-based, classroom-proven materials that provide flexible, focused, and targeted instruction to help educators effectively address the diverse levels and needs in every classroom. Our programs are designed to meet state-specific standards to help schools across the country meet the rigorous demands of AYP.Educational. I work with the design team that develops the online software. We create dynamic interactive lessons to help kids who are struggling in areas such as math and reading.Responsibilities include:• Work closely with the creative director and team leads to help streamline the animation production process to improve development times and reduce production costs.• Responsible for creating a character gesture library that helped reduce production time on task by up to 35%.• Responsible for reviewing design team animations and setting project delivery schedules.• Assist the editors with animation concepts during meetings to help maintain the “fun factor” in each of our lessons.• Create an assignment spreadsheet that gives team members and management transparency and insight into the design team process.• Create proof of concept art and animations for vendors to help ensure that they build assets and animations according to our brand and company standards.• Responsible for working with vendors by reviewing and editing graphics and animations as well as discussing and sharing more efficient techniques for building working files.• Assisted creative director with development of mobile UX and character concept designs for company’s mobile app Door 24.
