Devops Engineer
Current• Investigate, resolve, and document any security, performance, and availability of service issues.• Build a CICD pipeline using Jenkins environment and other tools like Maven, SonarQube, Nexus and deploy using Tomcat and setup auto triggers like poll SCM, build periodically and GitHub web-hooks• Utilize Docker for building images and containerization of applications as well as Kubernetes for container management and orchestration• Configured and deployed scalable applications in AWS cloud using EC2, Auto scaling, S3, ELB,VPC, Route53 and monitored these applications with Grafana and AWS SNS• Assisted in disaster recovery and backup solutions for EC2 instances in AWS.• Peered VPC with other accounts for easy data transfer and communication in the cloud.• Automating AWS cloud deployments using Shell script, Jenkins and Ansible.• Monitor the health of applications and assisted to return the system to health when alerted using Prometheus and Grafana• Implemented security best practices in AWS including multi-factor authentication, access key rotation, RBAC and S3 bucket, etc.• Experience in applying best practices in Cloud Security, auditing, and implementing security controls.• Automated builds and deployments using Jenkins and Docker to reduce human error and speed up production processes.• Resolved merging issues during rebasing and re-integrating branches by conducting meetings with Developer Team.
