Topvirk is a social entrepeneurship which has existed since 2012. We develop, fund and implement solutions to social, cultural and environmental issues through a wide range of innovative and novel practices.As Managing Director, my job is not only to ensure that we continue to be a growing, successful company, but also to ensure that we create positive changes in society through our initiatives. I believe that the practice of driving positive returns to society is not only a way to connect me to my life’s purpose, but also a way to help others find theirs, all while solving pressing issues in the world around us.

Responsible for all activities at Cama Lift ApS. This includes HR, R&D, Production, Sales, Administration, and Finance.Cama Lift ApS is the oldest and biggest stair lift company in Denmark today. The company was founded in 1975.

Throughout this whole period, I was a working partner in the R&D Company Invent4You. We worked with development of mechanical, electronical, and software solutions. Furthermore, we searched for new and innovative products for our market. During this time, the photo voltage market was just getting started in Denmark. We managed to enlarge the sale of photo voltage for the company Invent4You radically.

During a period of almost 4 years, I was responsible for the R&D department at RAIS A/S. We were a team of engineers and technical staff, who worked with developing, testing, and approving of the products. Parallel to the testing and approving of the products we prepared the new products for production.As manager of product development, one of my working tasks was focusing on developing systematic methods used for guiding all the processes involved in getting a new product ready for the market.During this period, I was still responsible for all the computers, servers, and printers in the company.

Right before finishing my M.Sc. degree at Aalborg University I got my first job at RAIS A/S as an engineer. During the first 4 years, my job was to develop new products. Each project started with making some sketches along with a designer. After the design sketches were finished the job involved developing all the technical solutions for the product. Afterwards came tests to make sure that the combustion could be approved according to the rules, given by the country in question regarding future sales. During the period of testing and approving the product, I furthermore prepared the product for production. This job involved technical drawings and developing fixtures for welding robots.During this period I was also responsible for all the computers, servers, and printers in the company.

Throughout my apprenticeship as tool and die maker, I worked at PN Beslag in Brønderslev. During this apprenticeship, I learned the basic skills of using manually controlled machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, grinding machines, and jig grinders. I also learned how to work computer controlled machines (CNC, CAD, and CAM).As a tool and die maker you are generally required to have all of the traditional skills plus substantial digital skills. These requirements make the field challenging to master.I got my certificate of apprenticeship as a tool and die maker in June 1990. This education has been a great foundation for my career ever since and it still is.
