I my very young years a I found myself a lot of time away from home. New places were exciting to explore but also made somewhat miss my family. At one of those trips I met a young lady. She was very good in drawing. It was so mesmerizing to watch! I started to learn what she did and then could not stop. I noticed how much that improved my emotions, how much more at piece and at ease I became. Suddenly that activity made me feel at home with myself and at home where I was. From that time I resolved to myself that I want to be a Magician too, I want to show people how much fun is to make art is how it can improve their feelings, well being and a whole life!My professional journey into the art teaching started after college in my home country, Ukraine. I was privileged to experience and enhance magic of artistic talents of kids different ages at the School for Gifted Artist in Ukraine. We had so much to explore in the world of art! Then life took me to Washington DC's to be in a rewarding role of art therapist at Art Therapy Institute. After that I enjoyed pleasures of teaching general public at Smithsonian Portrait Gallery and then educating in Public School sectors in DC and in VA. Teaching young people and adults at my Paint Parties makes my customers feel happy and entertained which reflects the same way on me. I love to express myself as an artist by not only picturing the beauty that surrounds me and inspires me but by also responding with my art to the events in the society. Having international experience as practicing artist and art educator I was blessed to witness first hand how cross cultural and cross-generational Visual Art is. Now I am blessed to also testify it's Healing Power, Entertaining Power, and its Power to Change the World into a better place to be.
