Management of foreign patents portfolios for different clients, including processing of the filing of new foreign patent applications worldwide, i.e., EPO, PCT, National, non-convention cases. Prepare and review appropriate correspondence from foreign associates and to clients regarding new applications, formal requirements, filing details, etc.

Involved in all aspects of U.S. and Foreign Patent Prosecution. Prepare PCT filings, US National Phase filings, 30/31 month National Phase filings, direct filings in all countries. Assist attorneys in filing U.S. Non-provisional, Continuation Applications, and responses to Office Action, RCE and Notice of Appeal.Monitor docket dates for different clients’ IP Portfolios and notify assigned attorney regarding the upcoming deadlines.

Manage all aspects of U.S. Patent Prosecution with the necessary due diligence and high level of the customer service. - Preparing drafts and other legal documents like Declarations, ADS, for U.S. Provisional, Non-provisional Patent Applications, as well as national stage applications under the PCT Rules 35 U.S.C. §371; Divisional and Continuation. Draft RCE and Appeal Briefs for attorney’s review and further work. - Excellent knowledge of the e-filing EFS on USPTO, EPAS, Private PAIR, tracking the chain of title after the recordation of assignments. Knowledge of new rules and regulations under America Invents Act of 2012. - Maintaining the attorneys’ docket, meeting all the deadlines, and preparing a variety of status reports for the clients, their licensees and co-counsels. - Prepare Information Disclosure Statements and charts for all related matters, solid understanding of the different databases like USPTO, European Patent Register, and Espacenet.com (EPO), JPO and other foreign patent search databases.
