As her expansive mind always required more knowledge, Olha Kovalenko began her career at the age of 18 while still attending classes at university. Working for Ukraine International Airlines, she became the top performer in the Customer Service department within the first 6 months. Yet as the school got more demanding, she was forced to quit her job to focus more on her studies. Later on, when getting closer to her graduation date, Olha landed a Customer Service Representative position at the international IT company Hexa. Within the first month after the probation, her KPI was one of the top-3 performers in the division. However, there was a strong inner feeling in Olha’s heart that something was missing. Therefore, she quit her job and went backpacking through northwest Spain to find her answers. Soon realized it was just the beginning of her journey. In the next 2 years, Olha traveled through 15 countries, volunteering and being immersed in self-discovery while making a living by teaching English online. It was until she saw an Instagram story. In the picture, it was a job advertisement at a Ukrainian fashion brand CULTNAKED. So she applied. Now, looking back, Olha believes it was one of the best decisions in her life. She was brave enough to pursue a career in fashion that she always wanted. And, you guessed it right, she got the job. Working for CULTNAKED was nothing but exciting: launching new collections, resolving client issues, and seeing top-world celebrities like Megan Fox and Kendall Jenner wearing the brand’s pieces — it was an experience without equal. Overall, Olha assisted in releasing 5 CULTNAKED collections during one year she was working there. Currently, Olha embarked on a new journey — she has gone back to school to get her Master’s degree in Psychology.
