My passion is applying engineering to solve healthcare problems. This began at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, University of Oxford where I participated in several University spin-out companies, before becoming a founding member of the Oxehealth team.As Oxehealth Director of Research and Director of the Oxehealth Clinical Research Forum, I have spent a decade developing the science and application of vision-based patient monitoring and management, realised in the Oxevision platform. I particularly enjoy collaborating with clinicians, patient groups and academic researchers.I hold a DPhil in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Oxford. I am a Chartered Engineer and Senior Member of IEEE and have received the IET William James award for Biomedical Engineering.

Developed and deployed Java mobile phone software and analytics to support the self-management of patients with asthma and to monitor toxicity and side effects for patients undergoing chemotherapy.Developed embedded software in assembly language for interfacing mobile phones to medical devices.
