I have three years of experince in retail, including opening, closing and helping to train new members of staff and running a shop and team in the absence of a manger.I also have two years collective experience in administration roles.during the summer of 2019, I was put in charge of leading the sales team in Paul A Young Fine Chocolates on several weekends, as I was the most experienced member of the team at the time. During this time I ensured that targets were met, that the shop was properly maintained and that the team accomplished the tasks that needed to be done. These included packing long life stock in preparation for busier business periods, transfering stock between shops, posting deliveries and updating the window displays. I also closed the till at the end of the day and relayed the shop's takings as well as what factors were affecting buisness on Sundays.I am looking to transfer my skills into the charitable sector, as I prefer working in a job where I feel that I am making a positive difference to the world.
