Acting as the Account Consultant (Lead Resourcer) for the Western Inner Track Project which forms part of the CrossRail scheme. The position holds full accountability and responsibility for a large pool of Carillion employees (including engineers, construction consultants, qualified electricians, health & safety experts, team leaders, construction managers, project managers etc). The Account Consultant is responsible for both day to day management of the team and for attracting and selecting potential future employees. Attraction is managed through multiple channels including internal advertising (internal mobility is an important strategy for Carillion), external advertising through major online job-boards within the industry, and online through the Carillion website• Responsible for the safe deployment of resources including those procedured through second tier suppliers, into rail projects delivered by both Carillion and other external clients.• Working with all levels of management but predominately Construction Managers for the following disciplines: P/Way, OLE, Civil’s, to identify resource requirements. Managing the ‘Resource coordinator document to ensure resources are planned and identifying T-8. • Work with the SSOW planner to ensure SSOW packs are issued in a timely manner and worker release to attend safety critical white board meetings on a weekly basis.• Full line management responsibility for 20 core workers and circa 100 contingent workers - Managing around 7000 man hours per month across all project disciplines.

We saw an opportunity for a new business – we felt there was a gap in the market for an up-market, smart and well run bar in Kavos, Corfu. I was personally responsible for the business case development, securing funding and then the setting up of this new venture. Once the business case had been proved to our financial backers, I was responsible for Project Managing the build and ensuring that all key milestones were hit on time, and to budget. I believe that I would be able to add significant value to the company – with my maturity of approach, the experience I have gained, in employment and education, I will be very well placed to eventually drive growth for the company.

A Ventilation provider, LAL Ventilation Ltd had an expansive corporate and commercial client base in the City of London.
