De Kleine Consultant is a non-profit strategy consulting firm run by students. De Kleine Consultant aims to provide various organizations such as firms, start-ups non-profit organizations with strategic advice. Kleine Consultants are trained by the main partner, the renowned strategy consultancy firm A.T. Kearney, in order to warrant a sound quality of advice. The projects entail a ten-week period, during which teams consisting of several consultants and a project manager work on a strategic case. Furthermore, every team is coached by an employee of A.T. Kearney. The workload per week stands at fifteen hours, for any role.Directors at De Kleine Consultant are responsible for the day-to-day running of the respective office. My specific role was internal learning and development, and I aimed to enable the steepest learning curve possible.

As a project manager, my main role was to facilitate the consultants' work on the case and essentially serve as the link between all stakeholders. The stakeholders were the consultants, the client, the A.T. Kearney coach and a director of the Utrecht office.In this role, the workload boiled down to two to three hours of meetings with the Utrecht office, two hours of meetings with the team and variable hours depending on the stage of the project.

As a consultant, I worked on a case with a team consisting of two other consultants and a project manager. The nature of activities varied on a weekly basis, heavily dependent on the stage of the project.
