Lead all Equipment procurement activity for 'Non-Commodity Procurement Services'.Extensively support the group oil refinery business building two oil refineries.

Responsible for establishing new 'Equipment' sector, implementing its structure and processes including supplier relationships.Leading all Equipment procurement activity (strategy, sourcing and contract management) for Gemcorps Sovereign and Private clients requiring goods, projects and services as well as significant sale side requirements for trade. Directly trading physical goods in all of the following sectors: Energy, Agricultural, IT, Medical, Communication, Commercial Goods, Consumer Goods, Spare Parts, Police/ Security, Customs, Mining, Vehicles (Road, Air and Sea), Workshops, Apparel/ Uniforms and others.

BP Iraq JV – Upstream Projects, working in the third largest oilfield in the world. Two main focusses in the role, I created and implemented a US$2 billion strategy managing pipeline and pipework from design to decommissioning and secondly led the procurement activities for a range of Greenfield and Brownfield EPC projects. In addition I supported other sectors with Engineering, testing and security scopes. Managed three colleagues.

BP North Sea – Midstream Operations, PSCM lead for a Gas processing terminal in Teesside, a major Pipeline network carrying >40% of the UK oil production and the Midstream discipline engineering team.Conducting strategic and tactical procurement and contract management activities including engineering, maintenance, modifications, SIP, plant overhaul, emergency response and supply of plant machinery.

BP North Africa and BP Global – Upstream Wells and Operations, considerable strategic sourcing activity including land rigs, helicopters, ROVs, rig positioning and contingency equipment. Lead internal demand and market supply analysis for a BP Global well testing market sector strategy.

BP Angola – Upstream Systems and PPM, procurement systems support and enhancement, process creation, performance metric creation, budget creation and spend reporting.

Created own franchise, specialising in educational materials for homes and schools. Responsible for sales, delivery, invoicing and administration. Average turnover of £1000 a week. Selected to return for a management role
