Working as part of the inhalation production technology centre, my responsibilities include; calibration and maintenance of spray-view equipment used to analyse inhalation devices with respect to their spray area and plume geometry in accordance to FDA guidelines. Preparation of standards, buffers, mobile phases and diluents for Agilent Chemstation 1220 & 1260 HPLC systems, as well as set-up, maintenance and analysis in accordance to ICH guidelines. Optimisation and creation of HPLC methods and extraction methods. Performing uniformity of dose testing for DPI’s and PMDI’S as well as aerodynamic particle size distribution using impactors. Compiling of inhalation data using CITIDAS software and excel. Participate and lead weekly meetings to discuss project deadlines and updates as well as improvements which can be made. Responsible for training new analysts on basic laboratory skills, HPLC and various extraction techniques. Generate and update SOP’S and protocols to reach GMP audit level, as well as following implemented SOP’S and systems and keeping detailed records of analysis in lab books.

Analysis of ANPR data, this involved checking for computer error in vehicle registration, identification or removing except vehicles from the system, i.e. emergency services. I was also responsible for managing and maintaining the structure of physical data records of previous parking offences, as well as amending hire companies details to the hirees so the fines could be addressed to the liable persons.
