Key responsibilities include:*Leading the Head of the Events and the Chartered ABS events teams in delivering the annual calendar of 40+ revenue-generating events and programmes.* Leading the team which administers the ‘Certified Management & Business Educator (CMBE)’ scheme and driving marketing and business development activity for the CMBE scheme in the UK and internationally. There are now CMBEs in nearly 30 countries and 1 in 6 of all educators in UK business schools hold the designation.*Driving the development of new programmes, services and CPD provision to enhance member value proposition and unlock new sources of revenue.

On the departure of our Chief Executive in December 2022 I was appointed to the Interim Executive Team working closely with the interim CEO and one other interim Director. This involved assuming additional financial, operational and HR responsibilities on top of my existing portfolio.

I was recruited to the Chartered ABS in 2015 to build an events team to deliver an annual portfolio of conferences and events. Over the years this evolved into an annual portfolio of 40+ revenue generating in-person and online events. Key responsibilities included:* Overseeing the Chartered ABS’s and Small Business Charter’s portfolio of 40+ events (face-to-face, blended, hybrid & fully online).* Overseeing member recruitment and engagement activities for the Chartered ABS’s member institutions including UK business schools, international members and corporate members.*Leading and managing the Chartered ABS / Small Business Charter events teams.* Working with a range of commercial organisations and other stakeholders on conference sponsorship, joint reports and co-hosted events.* Overseeing the growth and delivery of the CPD element of the ’Certified Management & Business Educator’ (CMBE) professional development scheme.* Creating and improving architectures, data management systems and administrative processes.

The Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF) is an independent financial think tank which serves as a neutral platform for exchanges among official institutions and private sector counterparties worldwide.I am responsible for leading the meetings team which designs and manages the portfolio of meetings, briefings and lectures by which OMFIF members can engage in thoughtful discussion and debate.

JSB delivers learning and development to HR professionals (primarily in the area of employment law) from organisations in the UK and abroad through a portfolio of live and virtual events.I led the public events team which designed and delivered the annual portfolio of 200 live and virtual events.
