The Board of Trustees has overall legal responsibility for the proper conduct of the Union and its affairs. In these, we overview our committees: Environmental and Social Governance, Finance and Commercial, Health and Safety.

As Vice President of Community and Welfare, I lead student representation in equality, diversity, housing, liberation, and sustainability. I sit on the consent lead team at NTU and lead health and wellbeing campaigns and other initiatives to reduce inequality. I am the lead officer to work with Nottingham City Council, Police and residents to represent and improve the student experience of safety, housing and other pertinent issues they can face.Together, with working alongside 5 elected full time Vice-Presidents, we form the Executive Team at NTSU. Collaboratively, we work together and represent students across our six campuses [City, Confetti, Clifton, Brackenhurst, Mansfield and Confetti London] in help of our elected part time campus specific offers for Brackenhurst, Confettie and Mansfield. We lead the freshers team in the welcome period by training them prior and managing them throughout.

Ambassador for WYA, assisting on launch nights and promoting it within the University. WYA (Where You At) is an app designed to assist people in finding their friends on nights out. On a particular launch night, I won the highest amount of downloads, 147 downloads, among the rest of my team.

Was an integral member of the Welfare Team at Stealth Nightclub, where I ensured patrons' safety in multiple ways and made sure they all got home safely. In short, this consisted of paying attention to any signs of distress, doing rounds of the nightclub and toilets, alerting medics and assisting them when needed, and providing basic essentials such as water. I also learnt how to de-escalate situations, calm them down and placate them and be a listening ear if needed. I worked well with security and bar staff, and also the police and ambulances when required.
