Worked closely with graduate student David McClain in collaboration with He6-CRES at the University of Washington. Focused on optimizing the beam optic on the TAMUTRAPs beamline at Texas A&M Cyclotron Insitute. Tried to experimentally prove that it is feasible to obtain 10^6 ions per bunch in TAMUTRAPs Radio Frequency Quadrupole (RFQ).

Worked with Professor Brodeur at Notre Dame’s Nuclear Science Laboratory, focused on the first chamber of the differential pumped extraction system and transporting ions to the ring and orifice of the Radio Frequency Carpet.

Participated in an eight-week virtual summer research program with the University of Virginia. Used python to model a beam path for an optical lattice, and created a 3D representation of the optical lattice to trace the beam path.
