As a Marketing Intern for three franchise locations (Phoenix Central, Phoenix West Valley, and Flagstaff), I have been working on creating content for the social media platforms and scheduling them through SoCi Social Media Scheduler. I have also been working on updating all three franchise websites to accurately reflect what they are up to. I have been learning advertisement tracking and branding techniques through the outside companies the franchises work with. Working with influencers on collaborations has helped me further my business skills in the areas of creating detailed proposals and communicating professionally through emails.

Working as a server pinpoints my interpersonal skills through numerous customer interactions, for example, having to communicate effectively with all different people. The fast-paced environment makes me have to be adaptable to all different situations. As a server I need to be able to navigate different challenges that arise and maintain composure under those challenges. Additionally, learning how to multitask strengthens my organizational skills and creates a strong sense of teamwork with others.

As a busser and food runner, I learned the importance of efficiency and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. I developed strong communication skills by coordinating with servers, kitchen staff, and other support staff to ensure smooth service. Additionally, attention to detail became second nature as I strived to maintain a clean and organized dining area while delivering orders accurately and fast to customers.

Being part of a business fraternity provides valuable networking opportunities, allowing me to connect with peers, alumni, and professionals in my field. Through participation in fraternity events, workshops, and projects, I was able to further develop my leadership skills, teamwork abilities, and a deeper understanding of business principles. Additionally, the fraternity creates a supportive community where members can exchange ideas, seek mentorship, and collaborate on various tasks, enhancing both social and professional growth.

While being a part of this committee, I was in charge of planing our fraternity's annual award ceremony. I needed to brainstorm and create the awards, create a google form for the chapter to nominate and vote for winners, and ultimately create the final slideshow to show at the ceremony.

As the intramural chair, I learned effective communication and organization skills by coordinating various sports activities for the fraternity. I developed leadership abilities through managing teams, contacting and communicating with individuals, and ensuring happy participants.
