I believe in the power of community engagement and bringing people together, which is why I am so passionate about Event Management. I recently left my position as Program Director due to a big move, but remain on staff as a Remote Event Strategist at Kalamazoo Experiential Learning Center. KELC is a nonprofit event planning organization that hosts both private and public events. For both place-making events and hired out ones, we take care of the planning, management, and execution of the event. I received my Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Western Michigan University. Although I do not currently work as closely to sports as I could be, I am still very connected to the athletic community and will always have that drive to bring my skills sports and event management together in order to bring people together. I am always looking to expand my network and I believe that every conversation is an opportunity to do so.
