Worked as the lead camp counselor in the mornings. Duties included: checking campers in, ensuring each camper came with necessary supplies for the day, coordinating small groups for the day and for pool time, filling out lunch forms for campers, and leading groups of counselors through the preparation of special events for each week. Also helped generally supervise and ensure the safety of campers, average numbers were 35 each day with a high of 60 during peak weeks in the summer. For my birthday party host position, I was responsible for assisting the intended family for the birthday party. Some duties included setting up the tent, tables, and decorations for the party, as well as serving pizza and birthday cake to the guests while upholding LifeTime standards of safety and entertainment.

Led and empowered young girls to break out of their comfort zones and form a meaningful sisterhood with other campers. This role was at a resident camp, so I was available and ready to help my campers at all times of the day or night. This role taught me the importance of being adaptable and able to work with others, especially if they have a different leadership style than me.
