Completed a 12 week pediatric level II fieldwork placement at a private school, offering emotional and autistic support for their students. I worked with students with emotional needs as well as students with autism, down syndrome, and other disorders that presented similarly. I had the opportunity to design individual treatment for students, providing sensory interventions for children with sensory processing needs, worked on vocational training and multi-step tasks for students in life skills classes, integrated hand strengthening and fine motor manipulation skills to address handwriting goals, and worked on ADL skills including: buttoning, toileting, hygiene, hand washing, and feeding. I completed daily notes each day, and I had the opportunity to attend IEP meetings with family members, school administration, and other disciplines.

Completed a 12 week level II geriatric fieldwork placement at an assisted living facility and private house calls. I had the opportunity to work with and design specific intervention plans for clients of varying diagnoses including: Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Vascular Accidents, Dementia, and orthopedic conditions. I administered various outcome measures and had experience with all types of documentation including: evaluation reports, daily notes, progress reports, re-certification notes, and discharge notes.
