My role as a Junior Account Executive (previously intern) was better described as a professional storyteller, because at Brainchild, they tell epic stories. Working in a collaborative agency environment in the heart of the Waikato, my day-to-day responsibilities involved providing various public relations, marketing and communication services for a wide range of clients, such as copywriting, media relations, content creation and strategy, influencer engagement and management, social media and digital marketing, brand identity and strategy, coverage reporting and data analytics and more.

At Limelight, I taught jazz as well as contemporary, lyrical and ballet to a wide variety of students, aged from 3 to 18+. As a teacher, it was my job to prepare dancers for exams, encourage them to explore their creativity and get out of their comfort zone, exercise and dance in safe and productive ways and ultimately, find their love of dance. I also worked with competition students and was proud to be involved in Limelight's end-of-year productions as a choreographer and backstage assistant. Oh, and when I wasn't teaching, I helped look after the dance school's social media and comms efforts!

Tutoring a group of 70 students in a introductory Public Relations paper (PUBRL101). In my role, I was in charge of running and facilitating tutorials, acting as a point of contact for students' concerns and queries and I also was responsible for fairly marking assignments and assessments completed by students during the paper.

Responsible for internal and external communications of the firm, my role at iCLAW consisted of the provision and coordination of many marketing and communications services, such as copywriting, graphic design, content creation and video production, social media and digital marketing, EDM distribution, website maintenance, HubSpot champion and more.

As an office assistant, I was responsible for managing reception, general administrative and operational tasks, being an expert organiser and a trustworthy deed storage and maintenance manager.

As Vice-President of the University of Waikato's only club dedicated to communications alone, my role as Vice-President was to lead the board alongside the President in providing meaningful events and opportunities for communication students at Waikato.During my time on the MCSA board, I helped create and organise all University events, create and promote an exclusive PRINZ x MCSA event in late 2019, advise on and facilitate our marketing, social media and brand strategy, develop and promote a website, network with PR, marketing and communications professionals and organise the annual 2019 industry trip to Auckland.
