In the internship, I am attending court to observe sexual assault and strangulation cases. As well as researching strangulation cases to input data into a spreadsheet. I also have undergone over 40 hours of training in sexual assault awareness and survivor care.

In this role, I will correspond communication with between our regional institutions and the NACURH board of directors. I also will run the Regional Of-The-Month program, which helps to build recognition for individuals within institutions and the region. Along with this, I will be chairing all regional NRHH spaces.

This role requires me to correspond leadership development for the executive board and the associate board. As well as oversees the chairs individual programming process and asses their progress each week. I also correspond team building and oversee budget use.

As the Vice President of RHC I am in charge of stepping up for the President when they are gone. Along with running the Late Night Study Break and Sweet Treat Study Break programs at the end of the semesters. These programs gather about 500 students to come and eat at our dinning hall for a late night meal swipe. I also control the pouch point system we have for the hall governments. This system involves me creating the rules for submissions and how they can earn points. As the National Communications Coordinator I am the liaison between the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH) and The University of Akron's RHC and NRHH. This means I attend all chats with the regional board and communicate the information I am given to RHC and NRHH. I also run the OTM voting committee.

The student assistant gets to partake in scanning and uploading documents and pictures from the museum archives. The uploading process includes transcripting messages and writing descriptions for the item being uploaded.
