I am currently a junior at Johnson and Wales University in Providence pursuing a degree in Equine Business Management with a specialization in Equine Activities and Assisted Therapies. During my college experience so far, I have had experience in basic equine care and needs, first aid, nutrition, lameness, and training. Over the last 12 years, I have had further experience instructing horseback riding lessons for people of all ages, and have also instructed summer camp. Teaching a range of levels from beginner to intermediate, I have also had a great deal of experience in customer service.My classmates, instructors, and co-workers have described me as a hard working student, who is responsible and passionate about getting a job done efficiently and effectively. I have had experience in leadership roles during my time teaching horseback riding lessons and camp, as well as holding a captain status for the Johnson and Wales Intercollegiate Dressage Team.I will be graduating in May, 2025 and I plan to pursue a career in instructing horseback riding lessons near the Hampton area. I am excited to pursue a position in which I can help people of all ages learn and fall in love with the sport of horseback riding. In the meantime, I continue to gather new skills and experience to further my career and education in the equine field.
