I was the top recruiter creating 20+ new troops and attracting 300+ girls to Girl Scouts. I produced educational materials for potential community partners to explain mutual benefits, and conducted market analysis to understand prospect populations, decision makers & influencers. I hosted events with my team across the state of Alaska speaking to audiences on the benefits of Girl Scouting to the future of young women.

I worked to support the volunteer programs of the Girl Scouts of Alaska. I helped in the creation of an updated new leader training course. I made check in calls with current Girl Scout leaders and supported them when troops needed assistance. I completed an audit of the council's Salesforce database. By reaching out to members I increased data accuracy and made our council have the 3rd cleanest data in the nation.

I managed installation of robotic fulfillment system in 3.8 million square foot Amazon warehouse.I coordinated multiple subcontractors to deliver a unified build. I partnered with product developers to adapt deployment rollout to remediate errors. I worked as a team safety officer with the goal of enforcing COVID and OSHA regulations across 80 contract workers.

I formed a virtual community of senior citizens with the goal of creating connection and reducing loneliness during the COVID-19 pandemic. I developed a variety of new programming options adapted for minimal technological tools and skills. I hosted group activities as well as 1-on-1 calls with seniors wanting further socialization.

I evaluated the current project management system and determined areas that needed updates and assisted in the aggregation of the monthly presentation for executives. I also led a team of fellow interns to create a plan for updates to the Selective app and Customer Self-Service portal to increase customer capabilities. I worked alongside an experienced mechanical engineer on a new type of heating and cooling system. I was tasked with responsibilities such as creating project timelines, designing progress logs, patent research, CAD models, raspberry pi programming, and prototyping.

I assist in the renovation for resale of historic homes. Projects include designing floor plans, painting, flooring, assembling cabinetry, technical installation, and landscaping.

Blacksburg, Va

Team Astra was selected by NASA to test our device at the Neutral Buoyancy Lab at Johnson Space Center. We built a prototype that collects samples of regolith from an asteroid’s surface for the Mars program. The prototype was designed in Inventor, and then a working prototype was brought to fruition by one of Virginia Tech's machinists. I acted as the point of contact between the team and NASA engineers throughout the project.

As a mentor, I met weekly with my student mentees to talk and ensure that they had a smooth transition into college. I also worked on the social committee to plan events such as yoga and pumpkin carving to create a sense of community throughout the dorm.

As a camp counselor for girls at a sleep away camp I ran activities, ensured the girls'​ safety, and created an environment of fun and acceptance.

I helped to teach kids how to design products that were sold at a marketplace at the end of the class. They were taught budgeting, marketing and creative thinking all in the hopes of creating successful business people in the future.
