Primarily assists District Associate Judge Stewart, as well as other judges in District 5C, by filing court orders, preparing legal documents, presiding and following the rules and codes of Iowa, scheduling court hearings, completing any assigned courtroom documents, and assisting with any other legal matters. Within this position, I have the opportunity to continue to expand my network with other District 5C Judges, County Attorneys, Defense Attorneys, and legal professionals within Polk County.

• Served in an administrative capacity, supporting program operations by organizing files and information to ensure smooth functioning and efficient management.• Mentored Youth in conducting workshops aimed at enhancing college readiness skills, equipping students with the necessary tools for a successful transition to higher education

• Worked with participants under electronic monitoring in Cook County and other jurisdictions, assisting them in their integration into programs designed to complement the efforts of parole officers.• Directly collaborated with police department personnel and dispatch officers to monitor participants and manage case information effectively.

• Ensured exceptional customer service delivery while upholding a safe and precautionary environment during the pandemic, concurrently executing tasks with efficiency.
