I am a professional musician and music educator working in Los Angeles. My primary instrument of study is double bass, though I am also competent in playing and instructing on cello, violin, viola, guitar, percussion, as well as music theory and history. As a music educator, I have mentored students in the K-12 grade range through individual tutelage as well as in an ensemble context. I am also interested in supporting, developing, and diversifying the musical community in the greater Los Angeles region, specifically in creating and increasing spaces for young musicians of color. Additionally, due to my academic background in neuroscience, I am a strong advocate of the value of musical education for students, based on the demonstrated developmental benefits and the therapeutic potential it has for young minds. I am currently available for performing and teaching roles.
