I received my BS from Vanderbilt University in Psychology and Geology in 2003 and earned my MS in Geology from Auburn University in 2006. I worked at the US Geological Survey in the Marine and Coastal Division in Menlo Park, CA before moving to Colorado in 2007. During 2007-2008, I taught Physical and Historical Geology as an adjunct faculty member at Red Rocks and Front Range Community Colleges. Summer 2008 took me to Canada where I worked for a Canadian geological consulting company mapping roll front uranium sandstone and drilling core for a carbonatite exploration project. In January 2009, I began my PhD in Geology at Colorado School of Mines on deep-water slope deposits in Southern California. I interned at Newfield Exploration in the Summer of 2011, and at Chevron during the Fall of 2012. I finished my PhD in December 2014 and accepted a job as a geologist at Anadarko (now Oxy). Specialties: computer skills, writing and presentation experience, successful grant writing, sedimentology/stratigraphy, field mapping, foraminifera identification, core logging.
