Currently working as the Manager of Service and Systems at Colorado Mesa University in IRIS (Integrated Resources for Information & Solutions) Advising where I oversee our student-facing customer service offerings and appointment needs. I work to use student data to determine outreach aimed at promoting retention and completion. My love for higher education began when I worked as the sole support staff for Senator Derrin Owens during the 2019 Utah General Legislative Session. There I supported the creation and passage of the "Utah Promise Scholarship" Bill. A scholarship designed to aid students who may never have had the opportunity to attend college due to finances. As an Academic Advisor, I have worked with students who were unsure or unable to declare their desired major and provisionally accepted students. During my time at USU, I created and led a program designed to help students on academic probation avoid suspension.
