- Overall envisioning and planning for NCAAT's youth programs- Identifying and implementing NCAAT's Youth yearly policy priorities (ex: Environmental Justice, Democracy Reform) - Developing framework for big picture NCAAT programs (ex: internships, fellowships, Weeks of Action, Youth Ambassadors, Youth Leadership Summit & Youth Leadership Institute workshops, etc. ) - Responsible for overseeing the recruitment, hiring, and retention of the NCAAT Youth Team- Conducting performance evaluations for direct supervisees within Youth Team, training direct supervisees - Creates protocol for all NCAAT Youth related issues including but not limited to: youth safeguarding policy, NCAAT Team structure document, onboarding protocol for NCAAT Youth staff, intern and fellows handbook/policies - Speaking on behalf of NCAAT to youth funders, representing Youth programs on calls, conferences and to press (etc.) - Responsible for maintaining and updating all information relevant to funders regarding NCAAT's youth program. This includes keeping log of all grants and associated metrics. - Creation and overseeing NCAAT's Youth Team budget- In charge of developing up outreach plan to stakeholder organizations
