I set up my section, I make sure everything runs smoothly from welcoming the guests to taking the payment and everything in between.

My duties as an Assistant Manager included Customer service, staff management, goods ordering, financials and administration.

I sourced organic wines mainly from the south of France to retail in Dublin’s farmer’s markets and I also produced high quality chutneys, pestos, oils and other food goods as well as hampers and gift boxes. Many of my food products achieved gold and silver awards from the Bord Bia Food Awards. During this time, I also took part in many festivals and Christmas fairs serving hot food as well as the foods and wines.

I started in La Stampa as a waiter and was promoted to assistant manager within a year. My duties included rostering, taking and organising bookings, briefing the staff on menus and the smooth running of the service.
