I started my professional life working in restaurants as a waiter which allowed me develop communications skills as well as workload management.I then worked for an inbound Government of Canada call centre whose mandate was to provide guidance to the general public in accessing various public services and programs. This exposed to me to me to larger administrative structures and how to navigate them.I was promoted to a Content Management role which saw me working on updating the call centre database. Doing so required carrying out extensive research on programs and services and staying up to date means I had to work on my networking skills.I then transitioned to working as a Compensation Advisor for the Government of Canada and then for Library of Parliament.
