I am confident and knowledgeable in a range of industries and environments. Starting employment at the age of 14 working as a glass collector/pot washer within a few local pubs before moving onto at the age of 16 to the well known and loved pub chain, JD Wetherspoon. I Have worked in the kitchen since Sept 2019 and have since led on to taking up more responsibility as Kitchen Team Leader. Aspects of my role include smooth running of shifts and ensuring the team are managed to ensure safety, quality and fast Food Delivery Times. Additional tasks include counting all food stock and creating/interpreting stock/financial reports for each week and financial period, leading into stock focuses and ensuring the customer experience is held to a high standard.As of August 2023, I also began my new full time endeavour as a Workshop Technician, Building Boats at Excel Marine. A midland based Marine boat/outboard dealer and service centre. Offering a range of power/pleasure craft of any size between 1.8m all the way to 7.6m. My duties include but not limited to, Outboard Servicing, Electrical Wiring, routing mechanical cables, building maintenance, final stage boat cleaning. Also Assisting our sister company MURLAC Ltd who specialise in Pontoon Installation, Geo Dams, Silt Curtains and Dredging operations to de-silt lakes/ponds.Outside of employment, I volunteer at my Local Sea Cadet Unit in Tamworth. Where I hold the Appointments of Assistant Training Officer and Unit Boats Officer. I am responsible for the monthly Training programmes for each rank/class to aid their Sea Cadet Experience and progress them through Valued Life skills. Planning and running Unit Courses/weekend's utilising staff availability Vs Course interest. As Unit Boats Officer I hold the responsibility for all of our boating assets including Buoyancyaid servicing, outboard maintenance, boating paperwork complete and up to date, instructor competency. safety of all personnel at all times.Through Sea Cadets, I have earned a vast range of qualifications and experiences, such as RYA Power level 2, RYA Safety Boat, RYA Sailing Day Skipper Practical, RYA Dinghy Instructor, BCAB Level 1 Paddlesport Instructor and SCC First Aid Instructor.
