Hi! I'm Ollie Ng ("Nong"), (they/them), and I am a recent Environmental and Hispanic Studies graduate of Davidson College in North Carolina. After graduating in 2021, I moved to Bellingham, WA to teach garden education in local public elementary schools through AmeriCorps. After finishing my service term in 2022, I continued my path in sustainable local food systems in the PNW through working as staff, and now managing food systems and food flow operations a local meal prep company! In my free time, I enjoy biking, hiking, geocaching, cooking, gardening, reading, learning woodworking and bike maintenance, and spending time with my friends and family. I strive to be a continuous learner in life experiencing the world through travel, building things and taking them apart, and growing food.My long-term passions I wish to share with the world are social and environmental sustainability, outdoor education and place-based travel. I care very deeply of creating accessible education surrounding environmental and food justice, climate change, and sustainable systems. I also love active travel and have several years of experience in leading groups in the outdoors in hiking, biking, and language trips from New England to the Pyrenees in Spain!
