Technical Product Specialist supporting product and geography. Provides direct support to customer incidents and service issues through interface with Field Engineers, R1, Service Engineering and Development. The primary goal of the Technical Product Specialist is to restore normal service operation as quickly as possible to minimize the adverse impact of incidents on our customer’s business operations. Champions the product and technology within our Region and as such, is responsible for the application of knowledge across the organization. Participates as required in new product introductions and new product readiness activities.

▪ I provide OEM technical support for Medical digital imaging products including portable x-ray carts, CBCT scanners, rad rooms, fluoroscopy rooms, and digital add-ons to analogue systems. ▪ I preform on-call onsite repair, scheduled preventative maintenance and calibration, compliance testing and certification, install and relocation, and onsite demo and upgrade for all major hospitals and outpatient clinics in the North Georgia territory. My primary accounts include most hospitals within the I285 highway loop and I maintain working relationships with the clinical engineering teams at Northside Gwinnett, Piedmont Atlanta, Emory Saint Joseph’s and others. ▪ I am responsible for a remote work office and service vehicle, an inventory of parts and tooling, and detailed record of all service interventions granular to the hour, all subject to annual audit. ▪ I participate in investigative repair for new product launches and was appointed the South East Regional Advocate for all Carestream ImageView Solutions. Additional responsibilities include remote support for other field engineers from Florida to Kentucky.

▪ I provide level 2 escalations support for dental panoramic x-rays, CBCTs and intraoral scanners. Develop software patches to address 3rd party DPMS integration issues. Train, dispatch, and provide onsite guidance for our national network of service technicians. Personal record of over 60 successful field interventions, installations, and trade show across the United States (50% travel). ▪ I perform technical root cause analyses on merchandise returned for electrical and mechanical failures. Implement corrective countermeasures in both internal support workflow and product design using DMAIC approach. Rebuild and certify Refurbished equipment for sale in compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

▪ I coached student projects centered around medical product design. Graded project proposals, engineering drawings, technical reports, and mock marketing pitches. I audited the technical claims of these projects for veracity and compliance with basic intellectual property law. Introduced students to basic prototyping and machining methods. ▪ By the end of my tenure, I was appointed Head CAD tutor, instructing students on how to draft projects efficiently while collaborating with people of varying levels of technical knowledge.

The company was transitioning to a new security infrastructure for web application hosting. I monitored how agents access data and at what levels, filtered relevant data into reports and developed scripts for the automation of these reports.Developed a convention for agent mobility and access rights in the new infrastructure and a script for expanding it in the future.

▪ I authored LabVIEW software controlling "force-probes" to manipulate cells in addition to computer vision software to track their deformation. Collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to modularize the software for ease of use. ▪ My focus was developing solutions to minimize temperature fluctuation and vibration inside the force-probe. Maintained and prepared cancer cell cultures for various experiments.
