My role as Assistant Store Manager requires high levels of organisation and responsibility. For several months, due to Store Manager absence, I had to quickly adapt and run the store which at the time, was one of the busiest EE stores in Scotland. I believe that this demonstrates my ability to learn quickly and adapt to unpredictable situations. Running the store is something which I do on a regular basis and my current manager relies on my skills to help run the store on a day to day basis. Within this role I was also seconded out as a Store Manager for eight months in different branches one based in the heart of Edinburgh on Princes Street, this was to assist a struggling store within my division. During this time I managed to raise compliance up to an acceptable standard, increase productivity and improve overall store standards and sales. My day to day job with EE includes selling to the public, promoting current offers and promotions pro actively, motivating and reviewing my team monthly, organising staffrotas, and interviewing job candidates, updating knowledge and skills, meeting high compliance standards, hitting set personal and store targets, cash handling and banking preparation, staff training and general administrative tasks.
