As a wage and hour class-action attorney of a Los Angeles Tier 1 Labor and Employment firm, I am responsible for managing and taking full ownership of an active docket of class-action and Private Attorneys General Act ("PAGA") wage and hour litigation. From pre-litigation to final settlement approval, I am directly involved with the case and my clients' needs. In this role, I perform substantive and technical analysis of employee time sheet records, wage statements, and employers' written employment policies for labor code violations. Using this data, I draft initial and updated assessment reports identifying potential liability and exposure for my clients. Throughout this process, I am the primary point of contact to my clients and interact with them throughout their lawsuit. In building a strong defense, I conduct on-site and telephonic employee interviews in order to obtain declarations supporting my clients' defenses. I also draft both discovery requests and responses, and meet and confer with opposing counsel regarding issues with said discovery. Further, in developing my clients' defense, I draft detailed deposition outlines in order to depose plaintiffs and weaken their case and claims.Additionally, I draft many successful pleadings and motions including motions to compel discovery, motions to compel arbitration, motions for summary judgment, and oppositions to such motions, amongst others. I have also appeared for hearings on motions and other conferences on behalf of the client. Relatedly, I prepare mediation briefs on behalf of my clients that have helped my clients dispose of their cases for fractions of their potential total exposure.As a result of my attention to detail, diligence, and critical litigation mentality, I have been able to develop rapport and strong relationships with my clients and partners alike.

As a Contract Specialist, I negotiate and draft contracts with public utility stakeholders throughout California. My responsibilities include analyzing and parsing program-wide construction contracts to resolve agency and construction contractor disputes. Additionally, I analyze and draft advisory memoranda in response to legal interpretation questions that arise under various sections of the California Code including the Public Utilities Code, Streets and Highways Code, and the Government Code.

I was 3:03 certified student attorney in Boston University School of Law's Employment Rights Clinic. As a student attorney, I was conducted client intake, conducted legal research, wrote memoranda of law, filed notices with the Division of Unemployment Assistance, and adjudicated a case for unemployment benefits on behalf of an indigent client.
