About Omar Khalid
As a Structural BIM Engineer at Studio International Engineering Consultants, I apply my skills and knowledge in Building Information Modeling (BIM) to design, coordinate, and deliver complex and innovative projects in the architecture and planning industry. I work with a team of multidisciplinary experts to create, manage, and optimize digital models of structures, using Autodesk BIM 360, CSI SAFE, Enscape, and other software tools.I have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Cairo University, where I developed a strong foundation in structural engineering, mechanics, and mathematics. I started my career as a Junior Structural Engineer at El Afifi Expertise House for Engineering Consultant, where I gained valuable experience in drafting, analyzing, and testing structural designs, using AutoCAD and Revit. I was promoted to a Structural BIM Engineer role in January 2023, and I joined Studio International in October 2023. I am passionate about learning new technologies and techniques, and I am motivated by the challenge and creativity of engineering solutions.
