As President of OM Construction, Omar utilizes skills developed through the years while working for some of the most respected companies in Southern California. Omar’s 29 year construction experience started in the field working as a field laborer then gradually moving up through various positions that prepared him to be the President he is today Omar’s ability to maintain focus on a project’s critical goals in a rapidly changing environment is a valuable asset to any project. His dedication to the highest construction standards is critical to his ability in obtaining excellence in performance from the project team. His responsibilities include overseeing the estimating staff, recommending value engineering ideas, negotiating cost-effective subcontracts and material purchases, and conducting regular meetings for the construction team. Omar’s unique experience includes such areas as laboratory research facilities, television studios including soundstages, control rooms, Surgery Centers, High end Tenant Improvements, Restaurants, Building Upgrades, high rise construction, Adaptive Reuse and Core Shell upgrades.
