I'm a UC Berkeley-educated Ph.D. in Demography (a.k.a. Population Studies), and have taken pre-medicine, public health, and research methods/data analysis/biostatistics courses. I’ve been lead author on publications that have appeared in journals such as JAMA Network Open, Demographic Research, and International Journal of Epidemiology. I’ve also consulted in the private sector, including conducting research to support product development in the healthcare/genetics space. A couple ways I keep current are by attending virtually Berkeley Demography's weekly seminar of research presentations and earning certificates in a variety of mainly skill-based topics.
