I have contributed in both client (STB) and server side (head end) of digital broadcasting. It included design, analysis, and implementation phases. I was part of KDG project right from kick-off till its successful launch in field. It also included collaboration with development teams across continents and visit to client place for integration tasks.Technologies worked include Java, JNI, Android, REST, Spring, Hibernate, SQL etc. We used maven for build and Jenkins for continuous integration.1. PRODUCT – SDMS (Software Download Management System) This server side head end component responsible for configuring and scheduling of software image download targeted for STBs.2. PROJECT - GET Android Companion Device ApplicationThis is a companion device application for GET STB application. This could handle ABR streaming, record booking and planning, stream from STB etc.3. PRODUCT – MHA(Media Highway Advanced) MiddlewareMHA is a MW layer in STB which abstracts the low-level hardware to applications. In this product, I was part of developing SI (Service Information) and DRM modules. Also, part of maintaining Graphics, JVM, Media Streaming, IP etc.4. PROJECT - STB Client Application for COX and KDGDeveloped STB applications for US and European customers. This consisted of contribution to modules such as • Client implementation of interface for POP3 protocol• Client for IP and Wi-Fi (including WPS) configuration• VoD (Video on Demand) with client integration for RTSP protocol• Scanning of TV/Radio Services according to DVB specification• Web intents for HTML5 integration• TV Remote app implementation for Android deviceInnovations• Introduced new techniques/tips to the team for android app debugging.• Unicode converter – Handy tool to convert text into Unicode.• Automation of scenario based tests using Fitnesse• Generic framework for wizard creation• Unit test mocking abstractions for modules such as Scanning of channels

Telecom Billing System Involved in the development of localization for the product. Involvedin the development of “Flexible Aggregation”, a feature for the new version. Apartfrom these involved in various bug fix tasks.
