About Jody O'Neill

Jody trained as an actor, graduating from the Bachelor in Acting Studies, Trinity College in 2003.Since then, she has worked with many Irish theatre companies, including The Abbey Theatre, Rough Magic, Graffiti Theatre Company, Barnstorm and Aisling Ghéar, as well as producing her own work.As a writer, she has worked with Fishamble, The Abbey Theatre, Graffiti Theatre Company, Theatre Makers. Her own company, Peer to Peer produced 'Celebrity' for which Jody was nominated for the Stewart Parker Award in 2012.In 2011, Jody worked with Story Toys (then Ideal Binary), writing their Hansel and Gretel and Red Riding Hood Interactive Pop-up Book Apps. She then worked with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt as writer of Curious George at the Zoo, which was released in 2012.Jody spent three years working as a script and story writer for RTE's Fair City. Since leaving that role, she has been focussing on researching, developing and creating inclusive theatre projects aiming to promote autism and disability acceptance.
