I am a highly creative and strategic cultural executive who is deeply committed to the power of arts and culture to connect communities and bring about change.I have over a decade of experience staging work with leading production companies in the UK and Ireland, with credits including This is an Emergency (six part short film series, The Big House); Medea, The Children and Tribes (The Gate); The Playboy of the Western World (Dublin Theatre Festival and Lyric Belfast), Shelter, Be Infants In Evil (Druid); Drip Feed (Fishamble and Soho Theatre); and The Mouth of a Shark (Change of Address and Thisispopbaby). I have been Resident Assistant Director at the Donmar Warehouse and at the Abbey Theatre Dublin. In 2015, I co-founded Change of Address, an arts programme for asylum seekers and refugees in Ireland and was the recipient of the inaugural Jo Cox Award for Young Female Change-maker for this work. In 2018, I was recognised as One of Ireland’s Most Powerful Women for my contribution to Arts and Culture.With the Cultural Philanthropy Foundation, I developed a new strategy delivering programmes to democratise access to culture, including the London Ticket Bank, a cultural variation on a food bank, and our ongoing Culture Makes campaign, highlighting the impact of culture during the first year of the new UK government.In 2024, I launched Future Stories, a new project to create pathways into the industry, currently developing a new production for 2025 in collaboration with Emmet Kirwan and a company of young people who have left the care system.
