I am a Community Project Officer at Rushmoor Borough Council, working on the Homes for Ukraine project since June 2023. This project provides housing and assistance for Ukrainian refugees in the UK, helping them access support services and integrate into the community. I collaborate with local organisations, host families, and other community partners to facilitate the well-being and empowerment of the newcomers.In addition to my role at Rushmoor, I am a Community Volunteer and Co-founder of Farnham Stands with Ukraine, a local organisation that I started in 2022. I am responsible for creating and maintaining the database, the email inbox, and the social media presence of the organisation. I also organise weekly events for the families who have arrived in our area, such as a quilting group and cultural social gatherings. I am fluent in Ukrainian, and I have a passion for helping others and learning from different cultures. I graduated from University for the Creative Arts with a degree in Film Production in 2022. I have a strong interest and skill in filmmaking and editing, and I enjoy using my creative skills to tell stories and express myself through visual media.
