Oman

• Established a high end fitness facility from vision, conceptualisation and realisation through to operation. • Secured finance and completed all aspects required to set up a Grade A LLC company with the relevant Ministry Departments. • Branded the parent company and subsidiary companies including the set-up of domains, logos and marketing collateral. • Responsible for the sourcing and procurement of £500,000 of equipment through the identification of market needs. • Responsible for the management of a £600,000 fit out project including space planning and sourcing everything from flooring, panelling, sanitary ware, tiling, windows etc. This also included the interior design, colour schemes and visuals. • Negotiated and secured the most prestigious location for any fitness facility in Muscat through target market consumer requirements and relationship building with Landlord. • Other responsibilities include business development, sales, marketing, recruitment, PR, Human Resources

Oman

• Established a completely new fashion boutique business in Oman on behalf of owners based in Germany from inception to current day trading, and oversaw the leasing, fit-out, and operational establishment of 3 stores in exclusive locations across Muscat. • Recruited Omani and ex-pat management and staff, trained product knowledge and selling skills, completed all visa clearances procedures and managed payroll costs. • Developed marketing strategies, generated links with newspapers and weekly / monthly magazines, managed press releases, created a database of target consumers and set up a loyalty scheme with discounts, email communication and newsletters. • Liaised and instructed on production of all marketing collateral including press adverts, leaflets, in-store communication, store signage and loyalty cards. • Produced two Fashion Shows at 5 star international hotels with audiences of several hundred people, and managed the ordering and selling of merchandise after the event. • Organised the sponsorship of events to heighten awareness of the Company. • Established Company presence and increased consumer knowledge within numerous highly influential voluntary organisations.

United Kingdom

• Responsible for 25% of the Asda Wal*Mart account in the UK with a staff headcount of over 500 employees including 5 Area Managers. • Managed in-store product sampling and marketing activity on specified products, creating a theatre atmosphere and recommended other products for marketing or promotion activity. • Liaised with Store and Regional Managers to promote specific products and services. • Analysed product performance both pre and post marketing activity, and presented results and recommendations to senior management both within CPM and Wal*Mart as required.

• Managed and oversaw promotion activities for new product launches for organisations including Proctor & Gamble, Unilever and Birds Eye. • Set up and lead 20 road show teams across the UK, including mobile kitchen cooking demonstrations, drinks promotions and radio presentations. Leading a team for Mercedes on a national roadshow launching the new A Class.I was then employed by one of my clients - CPM UK
