With 20 years of experience in medical research, medical device development, and digital health, I have run 11 clinical trials and pilots, secured CE-marking for 12 devices, and taken 6 devices through FDA.Trained as a biologist with a special interest in physiology, I am the founder of Heartfelt Technologies, Cambridge Digital Health and Sensiia (was Cambridge Temperature Concepts), all focused on developing telemedicine solutions to pressing healthcare needs.At Heartfelt Technologies, I focus on solving the problem of patient non-adherence by creating devices which work for all patients (even those who cannot stick to a routine). The result is reliable and regular data collection for all patients, which allows doctors and RPM companies to care better for their patients.I have extensive executive and non-executive director experience in the medical devices and digital health sector with a particular focus on cardiology and women’s health.In addition, I have a strong track record in fundraising activities, with over £10 million raised from seed Angel funding through to VC investment across several businesses.I enjoy managing regulatory and scientific projects. I have been very successful in gaining FDA clearance and CE marking for over a dozen medical devices and ran multiple clinical trials across geographies.
