• Responsible for the decision making activities of the Capital Procurement Program, and for reliable pricing information and timely completion of assigned responsibilities.• Act as the primary point of contact for Emanate Health, ensuring the best clinical-fit and financial-value for the Capital Equipment Committee, and the Construction Bid Evaluation Committee.• Support the Annual Capital Budget Planning Process excluding Information Technology and Building Construction with review of vendor quotes and secures ERCI pricing validation and Capital Budget and Purchases.

Responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management and for the implementation of supply chain strategies for clinical and non-clinical products, software, and services. Responsible for tracking and monitoring of procurement related contracts for the assigned responsible area.Work collaboratively with the Associate Administrator of Materials Management, Sourcing and Contracting Director, Legal Team, and Leadership for the assigned areas of responsibility to support and help identify areas of opportunity for cost savings, new technology and innovative supply chain efficiencies. Coordinate USC’s procurement policies and activity to ensure compliance, customer satisfaction, and cost effectiveness.

Procurement of medical, non-medical supplies and equipment as assigned.Research and resolve invoice discrepancies as assigned.Ensure pricing integrity by reviewing price increases against contract & non-contracted agreements.Work on bill only PO’s for OR & give the PO to the vendor in a timely manner. Work on “open PO analysis” to clean up the system every month end.Maintain accurate work, in a timely and efficient manner while keeping all necessary parties up to date and current.

Research potential suppliers in order to find suitable supplies that match the needs of both the patients of the hospital and the company.Negotiate for the best purchase in terms of quality, price (including any fees and shipping costs), terms, delivery and services with suppliers.Create and submit accurate and descriptive purchase orders.Work closely with accounting to resolve any discrepancies, shortages, or missing parts.Frequently audit inventory to avoid unnecessary spending and also to help maintain a well-stocked supply of products.
