My experience with CMC started out as a temporary employee. I helped outsource material orders that needed to be fulfilled for projects while the shop fabrication was over capacity. After a couple of months I was offered a position to coordinate material for projects. I learned about the materials and different project requirements. I learned enough for them to take interest in training me to work on Auto-cad. Later on I designed the layout and ordered the material. This was per specific job site requirements and engineer approval. Collaboration was often done with project managers, contractors, and foremen.

I started out being an assistant in the business and managed different roles in the company. I eventually became part owner and mostly held administrative duties such as: acquiring clients, managing clients, improving client relations, staffing as needed, maintaining a positive morale within our team, communicating information among our leaders, and collaborative decision making. I also took part in invoicing, being hands-on in projects, and completed work orders. If needed my oversight also supported management in their policy & procedure enforcement as well as helped resolve employee grievances.
