Zero Waste Scotland is a not-for-profit environmental organisation funded by the Scottish Government focused on leading Scotland to use products and resources responsibly to achieve the greatest impact on climate change. Royal Bank of Scotland was working to create a new high street challenger bank to be known as Williams and Glyn. This was to be achieved via a major change programme to divest RBS branches and customers in England and Wales which was mandated by the EU as a condition of the state assistance received by RBS after 2008. Key responsibilities:- Led a project team managing the transfer of circa 180K RBS mortgage and loan securities (book value tens of £Billions) held with UK Government Agencies (Registers of Scotland, Land Registry, Companies House) from RBS to Williams & Glyn, a new challenger high street bank as part of a £2.5 Billion transformational change programme- Delivery of all technical solutions (involving 30+ applications) required for stand up of complex Credit Documentation operation for Williams & Glyn Bank - Planning, design, tracking and realisation of all project deliverables - Stakeholder management of all relevant Williams & Glyn, RBS Retained, external third-party vendors and government agency stakeholders (e.g., Registers of Scotland)
