I graduated from a top 3 accounting program in 2018 and I currently work for a small DME company in Pennsylvania. I have multiple roles in the company, including payroll manager and expense manager. I also build and maintain financial reports for company leadership.I am unique in that I have an associate’s degree as well as a bachelor’s degree in accounting. This provided me with a very strong foundation in financial accounting. Cost accounting, tax accounting, and audit were also taught in both programs. Throughout the bachelor’s program I was introduced to a lot of useful software. These are listed in my resume, but I would like to stress that I have a lot of experience with Microsoft Excel, and Access. I have learned the basics of SQL and VBA, and I would love to learn more.I have also had the chance to work in groups at various times in my life. Before college, I learned to work in groups with a disaster recovery company (SunGard on my resume) and as a volunteer representative for the LDS church. I was also able to work as group leader many times in both positions. During college, I worked in groups on various projects across many subjects. I have learned what makes a group succeed or fail. I’m looking forward to working with groups more.I enjoy working and learning. I am quick to learn, and I feel like I’m stagnating if I’m not improving my skills. I'm looking forward to starting my career with a company that will help me grow professionally.
