About Osama Asaad

I have experience working for more than Twenty years with various sectors of Egypt's security body as well as UN experience both abroad and inside Egypt. I was graduated from Egypt police academy in the year 2000 and I have two bachelor degrees one in general law with grade (Good) and other of Police and Security Sciences (law enforcement) with grade (very Good).Being a former police officer for Ten years, experienced criminal investigator, counter terrorism specialist, a close-protection officer, a Site Security Manager at AlAhram Beverages Company - Heineken and recently Head Safety & Security Save the Children International - Egypt CO, I am able to work calmly in a competent and committed manner. I am also punctual in meeting commitments and achieving goals despite working in conflict environments where time is sometimes too difficult to predict or control.I worked as a Senior Security Associate for the Regional Bureau of the World Food Programme based in Cairo, Egypt (2008-2010).I have substantial experience of working in a conflict environment having worked in Darfur for about one year as part of the UNAMID forces (2008) before joining the WFP.As a former Criminal investigator and later a National Security specialist in radical movements, I am able to evaluate and provide advice on security measures as well as on latest trends and threats to staff safety and security.I also have experience in liaising and coordinating with governmental authorities in reference to the nature of my job career and responsibilities in several positions.I have an Arabic mother tongue and perfect command of both oral and written English language and I have the ability of drafting complex security reports, investigating security related incidents and performing other security tasks with both languages beside a basic knowledge of French language.I am well updated with the new strategic techniques in the field of security, with a good knowledge of contingency planning, security risk assessments and the operational security measures, in addition to my awareness of the competencies and core values of the international working environmenets.
