• B-Eng Design and Engineering.• HND Automotive Engineering.• City & Guilds 2 years Mechanics.Engineering Graduate with management skills and efficient with the use of software packages for production operations, purchasing, sales, and skills in quality and safety. The B-Eng has equipped me with problem solving skills, the ability to work as a team and has given me a good grounding in engineering, ICT and support systems. I am able to plan maintenance programmes, can review an engineering system or support systems and identify and plan controlled improvements.I have gained key interpersonal and transferable skills over the course of the programme. Role play exercises, individual and group work with the application of current continuous improvement tools and strategies. I have broadened and strengthened my management skills required within engineering professions by studying the project and business management themes. The themes developed my ability to critically appraise engineering systems and service functions and the ability to determine contributions made by each.Also through studying and reporting on the core module, Renewable Energy and Sustainability, has made me aware of the impact of engineering activities (manufacturing processes) and hence I am aware of what companies are looking for in the thought processes of modern engineers. Lastly my final year project on the Layout and Layout Analysis of an Engineering Facility improved all of my above mentioned skills and further enhanced my knowledge and understanding of how company layout affects the processes and also how an optimum layout relates to company output.
